UK-based TerraPay, a cross-border payment infrastructure provider, has partnered with Diamond Trust Bank Uganda (DTBU) to expand reach with international money transfers in Uganda.

Through this partnership, TerraPay intends to leverage DTB’s brand and facilitate money transfer, savings, and credit accessibility for users in Uganda. The collaboration will help DTBU grow its customer base for international money transfers and benefit customers and expatriates in the UAE, the UK, the US, Kenya, Germany, Qatar, Canada, and Europe from real-time money transfers to Uganda.

Analyst QuickTake: Terrapay has been expanding its global reach and cross-border payment networks since the latter half of 2023. Today's announcement follows its partnership with Orange Finances Money Mali , Nequi , and Papara to expand international payments in Mali, Columbia, and Turkey, respectively.
