The Raging Pig Company launches three new plant-based sausage products

Product updates

  • The Raging Pig Company, a Hamburg-based Food Tech startup, has expanded its line of vegan products with three new plant-based sausage products, including smoked sausage, mini grilled sausages, and curry sausage.

  • The new sausage products are made from a combination of peas and mushrooms, providing a meat-like texture and flavor and designed for the foodservice sector, focusing on restaurants and catering services.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The Raging Pig Company, known for its foodservice industry-focused plant-based pork products, utilizes a proprietary fat encapsulation process to create its products. In September 2023 , the company partnered with SIGGIS, a Munich-based restaurant chain, to launch a plant-based sausage during Oktoberfest.
