Transfix, a provider of freight matching and tracking solutions for fleets, has launched “Transfix Shield,” a suite of fraud-prevention tools for shippers, carriers, and brokers.

Transfix Shield includes RateCon Shield for the verification of load authenticity and Facility Shield, for facility-level fraud prevention.

RateCon Shield, piloted in August 2023 , adds a unique QR code to Transfix’s rate confirmations to enable the validation of loads and the load brokers. The solution aims to prevent frauds primarily caused by fraudulent actors impersonating freight brokers and shippers. 

Facility Shield provides proprietary validation systems and processes to prevent theft at the facility level. The solution enables the verification of carriers before they enter a facility. Facility Shield is currently in beta testing.

In June 2023 , the company partnered with Highway, a provider of carrier identification solutions, to enhance the transparency of its onboarding process by improving its vetting process.
