Andre Weinmann appointed president of NotCo's Brazilian operations

Management news

  • NotCo, a Chilean food technology firm, has appointed Andre Weinmann as its president of Brazilian operations. The company aims to achieve breakeven over the next few years on the back of its recent growth trajectory, and Weinmann is tasked with steering the company toward this goal.

  • Weinmann has extensive experience in the consumer goods industry and retail, having worked in key roles at major firms such as Mondelez, Nestlé, Purina, and Unilever. He also had a successful career as a co-founder of KotaKi, facilitating connections between manufacturers, wholesalers, and small retailers.

  • Analyst QuickTake: As of NotCo’s last funding round in December 2022, when it raised USD 70 million in Series D funding, the company valuation stands at USD 1.5 billion, placing it amongst the handful of unicorns in the industry. Further, its longstanding partnership with Kraft Heinz and presence in multiple countries highlights its upward trajectory since its inception.
