Beyond Meat introduces Beyond Burger Jalapeño in the UK

  • Beyond Meat, a plant-based meat producer, has launched the Beyond Burger Jalapeño in the UK. Advertised as the hottest burger in its range, it is available in frozen and chilled varieties at Tesco and Sainsbury's outlets and the Ocado online store.

  • The launch of this new product is an attempt to cater to the growing love for spicy food among UK consumers. According to the company, the Jalapeño burger has a high protein content, is free from soy, and is ideal for grilling applications.

  • Analyst QuickTake: According to Beyond Meat’s Q1 2024 results, its revenue declined 18% YoY to USD 75.6 million. Despite this, the company maintains a positive outlook and plans to achieve sustainable and profitable operations in 2024, driven by products like Beyond IV .
