Drone Delivery Canada (DDC), a Canada-based drone and logistics systems developer, has partnered with Volatus Aerospace, a Canada-based operator of piloted and remotely controlled drone systems, to commercialize the latter's drone nesting station, Volatus Aerieport.
The companies look to integrate Aerieport into DDC’s remote operations center, which offers services such as full drone operation management for its clients.
Aerieport is flexible and adaptable, operating in extreme temperatures with solar-powered features.
The companies plan to increase existing revenue streams from the remote operations center by promoting the sale of Aerieport and offering managed services to a global clientele.
Analyst QuickTake: Today’s partnership follows the merger of DDC and Volatus Aerospace announced earlier in May and showcases the synergistic potential of their combined efforts.
