Drone Delivery Canada and Volatus Aerospace collaborate to commercialize drone nesting station

Partnerships

  • Drone Delivery Canada (DDC), a Canada-based drone and logistics systems developer, has partnered with Volatus Aerospace, a Canada-based operator of piloted and remotely controlled drone systems, to commercialize the latter's drone nesting station, Volatus Aerieport.

  • The companies look to integrate Aerieport into DDC’s remote operations center, which offers services such as full drone operation management for its clients.

  • Aerieport is flexible and adaptable, operating in extreme temperatures with solar-powered features.

  • The companies plan to increase existing revenue streams from the remote operations center by promoting the sale of Aerieport and offering managed services to a global clientele.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Today’s partnership follows the merger of DDC and Volatus Aerospace announced earlier in May and showcases the synergistic potential of their combined efforts.
