Tender Food (formerly Boston Meats), a plant-based meat startup, has partnered with fast-casual restaurant chain Clover Food Lab to offer alternative meat products at the chain's 11 locations in the Boston metro area.
Through this partnership, Tender Foods will offer its plant-based fried chicken strips and Mexican-inspired pork with peanut, Morita pepper, and salsa macha, which can be added to any of Clover’s bowls.
Analyst QuickTake: This partnership brings the number of Tender Food’s US sales points to 16. This development follows the company’s recent USD 10.1 million funding round and its USD 999,986 grant from the US National Science Foundation (NSF) in December 2023.
