Modern Meadow, a developer of collagen-based materials derived from plant proteins, has partnered with Earthletica, a sustainable activewear brand, to create a sustainable, lightweight jacket for competitive swimmer Bronte Campbell that integrates bio-based components.
Named the "Bronte Jacket," the item uses a breathable, water-proof membrane created by Modern Meadow using its "Bio-Alloy Shield," which is reported to be bio-based, while being PFAS/PFC- and solvent-free. Bronte Campbell will be showcasing the jacket at the Australian Olympic Swimming Trials in 2024.
