Fulgar announces launch of bio-based polyamide yarn 'Q-Geo'

Product updates

  • Fulgar, an Italian firm that develops eco-friendly textile solutions, has announced the launch of Q-Geo, a bio-based polyamide yarn.

  • Q-Geo is made from bio-based polyamide derived from non-edible corn, contributing to 46% of the fiber. This yarn offers exceptional comfort, significant moisture management abilities, excellent breathability, and rugged durability. It also dries quickly and possesses flame-retardant properties without the need for additives.

  • Analyst QuickTake : In March 2021 , Fulgar partnered with H&M to launch products made with EVO, another of its bio-based yarn offerings, as part of H&M’s Science Stories collection. The company also launched a recycled yarn called "Q-Cycle" in partnership with BASF in February 2022 .
