GOL becomes first airline to join SkyNRG’s Project Runway

Product updates

  • SkyNRG, a Netherlands-based company specializing in the production and supply of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), has reported that GOL, a Brazilian airline has joined as the first partner for its Project Runway.

  • Through this initiative, GOL can now use the Book & Claim system to share the SAF price premium with corporates aiming to reduce their related Scope 3 aviation emissions.

  • Analyst QuickTake: SkyNRG launched Project Runway in June 2024 . This initiative unites airlines and corporations to provide easy access to SAF by supporting airlines in navigating the complexities of SAF procurement. For this, SkyNRG will provide the SAF, while Microsoft, a founding member, will act as the initial Scope 3 SAF claims buyer.
