Drivewyze and Inrix to expand Smart Roadways Service coverage to Texas

Partnerships

  • Drivewyze, a provider of weigh station bypass solutions, and INRIX, a developer of software solutions for the automotive and transportation industries, have partnered with the Texas Department of Transportation to offer free, in-cab traffic alerts through Drivewyze's Smart Roadways service.

  • The Drivewyze Free service provides visual and audible alerts about sudden traffic slowdowns, high-rollover risk areas, low bridges, and mountain alerts. Initially, the service will cover 285 miles of Interstate 45 between Dallas and Galveston, with plans to monitor more than 3,000 interstate miles in Texas by the end of July.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Drivewyze’s Smart Roadways service, initially deployed in 2022, is available in several states including Georgia, Delaware, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Virginia, and the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
