TAE Technologies partners with ITER to advance commercial fusion energy

Partnerships

  • TAE Technologies, a fusion energy development company, has partnered with ITER Organization, the world's largest fusion experiment, to explore the advancement of commercial fusion energy and a trained workforce.

  • Analyst QuickTake: This follows TAE's partnership with Japan’s National Institute for Fusion Science (NIFS) to carry out the world’s first hydrogen-boron fusion experiments in a magnetically confined fusion plasma in March 2024 . The company also partnered with Occidental Low Carbon Ventures in June 2024 to explore using TAE's fusion technology to provide emissions-free power and heat for direct-air-capture (DAC) facilities.
