Cohere, a Canadian AI startup developing LLMs, has raised USD 500 million in a Series D funding round from investors including Cisco, Fujitsu, AMD Ventures, EDC, and PSP Investments. The funding values Cohere at USD 5.5 billion, bringing its total funding to USD 970 million.
The funds will be used to expand Cohere's team and further develop its AI technology, which will enable productivity and efficiency gains for businesses globally.
