Carbon partners with SprintRay partner to improve fixed hybrid dentures with resin technology

Partnerships

  • Carbon, a provider of 3D printing services, has partnered with SprintRay, a provider of 3D dental printing solutions, to validate the latter's resin, OnX Tough 2, for use with its M-series printers.

  • The integration of OnX Tough 2 resin will enable Carbon's printer users to support the production of fixed hybrid dentures through expanded applications, improved aesthetics, and strength.

  • Analyst QuickTake: 3D printing services for dental-related products have grown in popularity over the last few months with several additive manufacturing startups increasing their exposure in the space. This includes companies such as Eplus3D, which partnered with Scheftner to integrate AM solutions into the dental industry in January, and SprintRay , which launched Pro 2, a 3D printer compatible with a dental model and retainer resins in May .
