Solar Foods, an air-based protein producer, has partnered with Ajinomoto Group, a Japanese food manufacturer, to launch two new products made with Solein protein. The products will be available at Ajinomoto's popup stores in Takashimaya, Singapore, and One Holland Village for a limited time.
The partnership introduced Traditional Flowering Mooncakes and Ice Cream Sandwiches under Ajinomoto's new brand, Atlr.72, in Singapore. These products use Solein to replace dairy, offering protein and reduced environmental impact.
Analyst QuickTake: Ajinomoto and Solar Foods first partnered in June 2023 to develop products using Solein. This launch marks a significant step for Solein's commercial use, coinciding with the ramp-up of Solar Foods' new production facility in Finland.
