Nosh.bio partners with zur Mühlen Group to launch single-ingredient meat analog

Partnerships

  • Nosh.bio, a food tech startup, partnered with zur Mühlen Group, a major European sausage producer, to launch "Koji Chunks," a single-ingredient meat analog. The partnership also attracted new investments from ApolloCapital, Check24 Impact, and zur Mühlen Group.

  • The partnership will introduce Koji Chunks, available in five flavors, through zur Mühlen Group's extensive retailer network, starting in Germany. The product, made from Nosh's non-GMO fermented fungi ingredient, aims to meet consumer demand for cleaner labels and transparency in food products.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Nosh’s mycoprotein ingredient was launched in April 2024 , allowing the development of single-ingredient meat and seafood substitutes. The company claims this ingredient is cost-competitive with current alternatives and offers a savory-tasting, color-neutral product with inherent binding capabilities.
