Aleph Farms partners with chef Eyal Shani to launch cultivated beef in restaurants

Partnerships

  • Aleph Farms, an Israeli cultivated meat company, has partnered with Michelin-starred chef Eyal Shani to introduce its Aleph Cuts beef steaks to restaurants.

  • The partnership aims to debut Aleph Cuts through curated dining experiences in Israel. Shani owns around 50 restaurants globally and is joining as an investor and launch partner.

  • Before the launch, Aleph Farms must complete a Good Manufacturing Practices assessment for its production plant and follow Israeli labeling guidelines. The company is also in discussions with potential investors and has filed for regulatory approval in several countries, planning future launches in Singapore, Thailand, and other Asian markets.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In June 2023, the company partnered with chef Marcus Samuelsson to develop and promote Aleph Cuts, making this latest collaboration the company’s second partnership with a world-renowned chef for its Aleph Cuts product. In January 2024 , Aleph Cuts received regulatory approval from the Israeli Ministry of Health, making it the first cell-cultured beef product to receive regulatory clearance.
