EHang Holdings Limited, a leading Chinese autonomous aerial vehicle technology company, has completed the first flight of its EH216-S pilotless eVTOL aircraft in Brazil. The flight took place in Quadra in the São Paulo region, in partnership with local operator Gohobby Future Technologies.
In September 2024 , the EH216-S received an Experimental Flight Authorization Certificate (CAVE) from Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC), allowing trial operations in the country. EHang and Gohobby are conducting trial and test campaigns for the EH216-S, collaborating with ANAC and the Brazilian Airspace Control Department.
EHang aims to use the data and operational experience from these test flights to develop safe, efficient, eco-friendly, and accessible urban air mobility solutions for Brazil and Latin America.

In July 2024 , the company received approval for the Air Operator Certificate from China's Civil Aviation Administration and delivered the first EH216-S batch to Xishan Tourism .
