PAPACKS and element6 Dynamics partner to launch sustainable packaging in US

Partnerships

  • PAPACKS, a Germany-based sustainable packaging company, and element6 Dynamics, a company developing a circular alternative to tree-based pulp, signed an MOU to form a joint venture for expanding PAPACKS' sustainable packaging solutions in the US market.

  • The partnership aims to offer regenerative alternative fiber (industrial hemp) packaging solutions for various industries. The joint venture plans to construct 10 fully integrated molded and thermal-formed manufacturing facilities across the US.

  • element6 Dynamics will contribute its expertise in industrial hemp cultivation and processing, while PAPACKS brings its fiber-based packaging technology and European market experience to the partnership.

  • Analyst QuickTake: In July 2024 , the company partnered with Wandarra to develop sustainable hemp-based packaging in the Asia-Pacific region. The US market entry follows PAPACKS' development of an international licensing model to enable other businesses to set up manufacturing facilities using Papacks' technology later in July 2024 .
