Vegan Zeastar launches plant-based sushi rolls

Product updates

  • Vegan Zeastar, a plant-based seafood brand of Dutch fast food chain Vegan Junk Food Bar, has introduced a new product line called "Plant-Based Sushi Rolls." The new sushi range was launched at the CuliPerslunch event in Amsterdam and is available in Oshi No Salmon, Spicy No Tuna, and No Salmon Asparagus flavors.

  • The Plant-Based Sushi Rolls are pre-cut, frozen, ready to serve, and can be topped as desired. These are designed for restaurants and consumers looking for quick and easy plant-based meal options.

  • Vegan Zeastar claims that these new sushi rolls will enhance the sushi experience for plant-based food lovers. The company aims to provide a convenient and tasty alternative to traditional seafood sushi, catering to the growing demand for plant-based options in the food industry.

  • Analyst QuickTake: The Vegan Zeastar brand also launched King No Crab in August 2023 , the plant-based product it claimed was the world's first alternative to king crab. Additionally, in November 2023, it launched the Crispy Coconut Shrimpz for its plant-based shrimp range, which initially comprised Crispy Chili Shrimpz, Crispy Lemon Shrimpz, and Original Vegan Shrimpz.
