Scope3, a sustainability platform, has raised USD 25 million in a funding round led by GV, with participation from Venrock, Room40 Ventures, Craft Ventures, Aperiam Ventures, and Virgo Strategic Investments. This brings the company's total funding to USD 45 million.
The funding will expand the company’s sustainability solutions beyond the advertising industry and address the environmental impact of the booming AI industry.
Scope3 will release its open-source AI methodology and funding to the public. This methodology tracks and measures the environmental impact of an AI product, process, or service throughout its lifecycle.
