Virtual gastrointestinal (GI) care clinic Oshi Health has raised USD 60 million in a Series C funding round led by Oak HC/FT, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, Flare Capital Partners, Frist Cressey Ventures, CVS Health Ventures, and Takeda Digital Ventures.
The new funds will be used to extend the company's market position by adding partnerships with more provider groups, growing payer coverage, servicing new employer partners, and expanding into Medicare populations beginning in 2025.
Analyst QuickTake: The funding comes as the company continues to expand its market position in the GI care space, covering more than 40 million people. The company has been broadening access to its platform through partnerships with notable alliances with companies like Aetna , Firefly Health, and Solera Health to achieve this objective. Earlier in June 2023 , Oshi Health also partnered with the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) to accelerate the use of hybrid digestive care health; this partnership also included a strategic investment from these two institutions.
