x olo, a 3D printing company, has partnered with Swarovski to develop volumetric 3D printing technology for crystal glass.
The partnership aims to explore and develop volumetric 3D printing techniques specifically for crystal glass production. xolo will employ its Xolography technology, which enables users to build objects in a continuous motion instead of in layers, to process transparent glass materials in line with Swarovski’s standards
Analyst QuickTake: This is the second major partnership xolo entered last month after a co-branding agreement with Rousselot , Darling Ingredients' collagen and gelatin brand, in late September. Notably, similar to this partnership, the company was focused on expanding the use cases of its volumetric 3D printers by integrating Rousselot's X-Pure gelatin methacrylate (GelMA) into its bio-inks.
