Dreamfarm launches vegan ricotta made from nuts

Product updates

  • Dreamfarm, an Italian startup specializing in fermented nut-based cheese alternatives, has launched a vegan ricotta made from almonds and cashews. The product will be available in Esselunga supermarkets across Italy starting October 28, with plans to expand to other EU markets.

  • The vegan ricotta is crafted through a patented fermentation process and comes in 100 g packages. The product can be consumed independently or used in sweet and savory recipes.

  • Through this expansion, the company aims to increase its revenue eightfold compared to 2023. Additionally, Dreamfarm plans to showcase the product at the Plant Based World Expo Europe in London this November.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Dreamfarm claims its plant-based mozzarella is the first and only alternative with government-certified liquid status and a Nutriscore A rating. Since its debut in Italy, the company has successfully expanded its reach, entering the Belgian and German markets this year.
