Dutch food tech company Revyve, a developer of yeast-based egg replacement ingredients, has partnered with UK-based Daymer Ingredients for its first overseas distribution agreement.
Through this partnership, Revyve's natural texturizing ingredients made from micro-milled yeast will be available to British food manufacturers. The ingredients offer properties like heat-set gelling, binding, and emulsification, suitable for applications in plant-based meats, sauces, baked goods, and other products.
Analyst QuickTake: This collaboration follows Revyve's recent launch of a gluten-free egg replacer and yeast-based egg replacement products. Further, the company began operating its new factory in the Netherlands, with an estimated production capacity of ~300 tons. This will enable the company to meet any surges in demand as it looks to expand its international footprint.
