Ottonomy IO partners with Crave to pilot contactless food deliveries in Los Angeles

  • Ottonomy IO, a delivery droid manufacturer, has partnered with Los Angeles-based mobile food ordering app Crave to pilot contactless food deliveries, focusing on restaurants and hospitality businesses.

  • The companies’ aim will be on food courts, curbsides, and home deliveries.

  • The company has been piloting droids for multiple industries across the US, including airport and retail sectors, targeting both indoor and outdoor delivery purposes. 

<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Ottonomy IO also conducts trial operations in Delhi, India via a September 2020 partnership with Snapdeal, an Indian ecommerce company. Its peer companies including Kiwibot, Tortoise, and Coco Robotics have also conducted delivery trials in Los Angeles, partnering with various companies including restaurants.</ul>
