DroneDek, an Indianapolis-based developer of a drone landing platform, has signed an agreement with India-based Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to develop, design, and produce its smart landing stations for global distribution.
The companies are initially looking to produce purchase orders worth USD 50 million by Q2 2022.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: The agreement will bring operational synergies to both parties by combining DroneDek’s intellectual property and BEL’s engineering, manufacturing, and deployment capabilities while enabling DroneDek to expand globally. Today’s news comes just two months after DroneDek’s peer Valqari announced a manufacturing agreement with Draganfly, a Canadian drone solutions provider.</ul>
