Dialpad raises USD 170 million in funding; nearly doubles valuation to USD 2.2 billion

<ul><li>Dialpad, an employee communication and collaboration platform, has raised USD 170 million in a funding round led by ICONIQ Capital with participation from Amasia, GV, OMERS Growth Equity, Work-Bench, Section 32, and T-Mobile Ventures. The latest round brings Dialpad’s total funding to USD 400 million, nearly doubling its valuation to USD 2.2 billion from its previous funding round in December 2020.</ul>

  • The fresh funds will be used to further develop and apply Dialpad’s native Voice Intelligence technology with its platform and to expand its headcount across data engineering, natural language processing, machine learning, and customer-facing teams.

  • Dialpad has doubled its employee count to more than 1,000 employees and has expanded operations to 11 regions including Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and EMEA, over the past 18 months.
