Gorillas, a rapid grocery delivery platform based in Berlin, has set up a holding company in the Netherlands. Papers were filed at the Dutch Chamber of Commerce show, indicating that Gorillas Technologies GmbH (a limited liability company) has been moved to the Netherlands.
The company is now re-registered as Gorillas Technologies Holding BV. The director listed is Gorillas CEO Kagan Sumer.
<ul><li>The company has not disclosed more information with reference to this initiative. In January 2022, Gorillas acquired Frichti , a French online meal and grocery delivery platform, for an undisclosed amount. Gorillas will have access to Frichti’s customers (more than 450,000) as well as its 25 micro fulfillment centers across France and Belgium.</ul>
