<ul><li>Olo, a white-label ordering platform for restaurants, has announced that it has expanded its partnership with VROMO, a delivery management software provider. The new agreement builds on the company’s existing partnership with VROMO (January 2021) to be its technology partner for food delivery and driver management.</ul>
<ul><li>The partnership allows Olo’s multi-location restaurant brands to access a network of local delivery partners through the integration of Olo’s delivery solution Dispatch with the VROMO system, an automated delivery dispatch and route optimization tool that assigns the delivery to the nearest available rider. As a result, Olo’s restaurant brands have the option of national delivery services or local delivery partners to select the most economical delivery provider while increasing delivery capacity, reducing lead time, real-time interaction with drivers as well as analytics and reporting.</ul>
Founded in 2005, Olo (an approximation of the words “online ordering”) offers restaurants a white-label platform to streamline their online customer orders to the restaurant’s POS. As of May 2021, the platform has partnered with more than 400 restaurants (~70,000 locations across the US). The company claims it covers orders from more than 90% of the US population via multiple delivery providers.
