i2c partners with Amex to enable FinTechs to access Amex’s payment network

Partnerships

 • i2c, a payment and banking FinTech infrastructure provider, has extended its partnership with American Express (Amex) to enable FinTech and financial institution developers plug-and-play access to the Amex payment network when building payment solutions.

 • Developers can also access Amex’s benefit programs, such as Resy dining and access to ticket pre-sales as well as its partner network to expedite the development of payment solutions.

 • The partnership should help Amex expand its global customer base, as its relationship is now expanding to North America (initially started in Latin America and the Caribbean).

Analyst QuickTake: i2c also has a strong relationship with Amex’s peer global payment network provider, Visa, which it has expanded in recent times. i2c was the first company to be active in all of the Visa Fintech Fast Track program’s four regions . Last week, i2c announced that it has extended its partnership with Visa to expand its presence in the MENA region, shortly after leveraging “Visa Installments” in August 2021, to let its users offer point-of-sale installments/BNPL facilities.
