i2c, a payment and banking FinTech infrastructure provider, has extended its partnership with Visa to offer its processing infrastructure to FinTechs in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, complemented by Visa’s global network.
i2c plans to offer a range of payment and banking infrastructure to the region, including card management, buy-now-pay-later (BNPL), and cryptocurrency.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: i2c has entered several partnerships to expand its presence in the MENA region. Within the past three months, the company partnered with KARTY and BEYON Money , to launch digital wallets (including Visa digital cards) in Qatar and Bahrain, respectively. These recent partnerships, and today’s news alike, benefit from i2c’s deep relationship with Visa. i2c is the only company active in all of the Visa Fintech Fast Track program’s four regions . It also extended its partnership in August 2021 to leverage “Visa Installments” and let its users offer point-of-sale installments/BNPL facilities.</ul>
