Circ partners with Zara to unveil new women’s collection made using Cric Lyocell

Partnerships

  • Circ, a Virginia-based startup that recycles textile waste, has partnered with clothing brand Zara to release a new women's collection made entirely from Circ Lyocell, a fabric produced using recycled textile waste.

  • The partners claim the collection demonstrates the potential of Circ Lyocell in creating timeless, minimalist fashion. The collection features four items made using only Circ Lyocell and is reported to become available on August 15 in the US and other selected markets.

  • Analyst QuickTake: Circ’s partnership with Zara dates back to April 2023 , when Zara’s parent Inditex participated in Circ’s USD 30 million Series B funding round. Later in the same month, the partners launched the Circ x Zara poly-cotton capsule collection for women, featuring items made from 50% and 43% recycled poly-cotton waste lyocell and polyester, respectively.
