Marqeta, a card issuing infrastructure provider, has partnered with SDK Finance, a digital wallet and neo-banking infrastructure provider, to grow its customer base by expanding the reach of its stack of payment APIs.

Through this partnership, Marqeta aims to grow its customer base by offering its cloud-based payment APIs to allow SDK finance customers to issue and manage instant virtual or physical cards, digital wallet functions, spend control, and other services.

Analyst QuickTake: Marqeta has entered several partnerships during the year to expand its presence. Last month, the company partnered with Credi2 to offer installment payments with European banks after partnering with several foreign companies  Scalapay (October) and Fitbank (July) to expand its reach in Europe and Brazil, respectively.
