In April 2022, Carbon Direct Capital led a USD 30 million Series A funding round for Air Company, a carbon technology firm that creates carbon-negative alcohols and consumer products from CO2. Carbon Direct Capital Management joined Air Company's board as part of this investment.

In March 2022, Carbon Direct Capital co-led a USD 53 million Series A funding round for Heirloom, a direct air capture company focused on permanently removing CO2 from the atmosphere. This funding will finance Heirloom's first deployment of its low-cost, scalable direct air capture process.
