 Gauzy Ltd., a company specializing in light and vision control solutions, is set to debut its AI-powered advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) for commercial trucks at the IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany.
 This system, dubbed as the "Smart-Vision camera monitor system", is comprised of interior displays and high-definition cameras installed on the outside of commercial trucks, aimed at enhancing road visibility for truck operators. In addition, it is outfitted with AI-facilitated self-learning and predictive capabilities. Among the features of the Smart-Vision CMS are real-time alerts, adaptive maneuver lines on the display assisting the driver in monitoring distance between their vehicle and an obstacle, and a backward panning feature for when the truck is in reverse. Other key features include collision prevention/detection technology, blind spot information systems, as well as a surveillance mode for improved safety. The system can allegedly be made compatible with any commercial truck model or trailer.
 It has been reported that Ford Trucks has plans to incorporate the Smart-Vision camera monitor system in some of their vehicles. Furthermore, this technology is utilized in public buses and coaches in over 80 cities globally.
