In September 2022 , the company partnered with Cale and Daughters to build its first overseas alternative dairy and meat production facility, which was slated to begin operations in 2023. In October 2022 , Vgarden partnered with plant-based protein developer Brevel to develop a new category of high-protein microalgae-based cheese. The company partnered with MCT Dairies , a New Jersey-based global dairy supplier, in June 2023, to launch its full range of vegan alternatives to cheese, meat, and seafood for retail, ingredient, and foodservice markets in the US.
Funding and Financials
In August 2021, the company received an investment of NIS 55 million (~USD 16 million) from Leumi Partners, the investment arm of Bank Leumi. The funding was planned for continued product development and international expansion.
