VITURE is an AR glass manufacturer. Its latest product, the “VITURE Pro” (priced at USD 459 and launched in May 2024) is tailored towards immersive entertainment experiences (streaming TV shows and gaming). The glasses offer users a 135-inch virtual screen at a 120 Hz refresh rate, 4,000 nits of brightness, anti-motion sickness, and a USB-C port for connectivity to other devices. Testing and certification company SGS awarded the glasses a low visual fatigue certification, causing less eye strain compared with phones and monitors. The company stated that there is no visibility of the wearer's display on the outer lens and partnered with HARMAN to develop audio features focused on privacy.
The company also developed the “One XR” smart glass (priced at USD 439), which it claims was equipped with the world’s first tint-changing lenses. The XR glasses, which were designed in collaboration with LAYER, weigh 78 g and offer a 120-inch, 1080p virtual screen for gaming and streaming applications via Steam VR, Playstation, Nintendo Switch and the Xbox. The glasses have dimmable electrochromic film lenses, built-in myopia adjustments, 3 degrees-of-freedom (DoF) support, and a reverse sound field audio system created in partnership with HARMAN. The company also offers a more affordable version of the glasses, the One Lite XR glasses, priced at USD 349.
Funding and financials
The company’s most recent funding came in October 2022, when it raised USD 10 million in a Series A funding round co-led by BAI Capital and Verity Ventures. The proceeds were allocated to mass produce its XR glasses and develop its research and development. This followed its USD 3 million crowdfunding round in September 2022.
