Quartet Health is a health tech company that provides an online platform and app through which healthcare providers, teletherapy/telepsychiatry providers, and health plans can collaborate to provide users with mental health care. The platform connects users to a personalized care team consisting of mental health providers and primary care providers and employs a collaborative approach to care where primary care physicians are supported with data and resources to identify patients with mental health conditions. By sharing treatment plans, primary care and mental health providers can support the overall mental and physical health of their patients. As of November 2022, the company has a team of over 200 clinicians, with 20,000 providers on its platform, and carries out services for over half a million patients annually. The company expects to treat over one million patients in 2023 and plans to increase the number of clinicians on its platform to 500 by the end of 2023.

In December 2021, the company announced its plans to acquire InnovaTel Telepsychiatry, a virtual behavioral care startup. The acquisition would enhance the care delivery capabilities of Quartet's existing healthcare ecosystem and expand its reach to 30+ US states by the end of 2022. Both the companies planned to develop their virtual care offerings, initially targeting serious mental illnesses.

In November 2022, the company launched a virtual clinic to treat patients diagnosed with moderate to serious mental illness (SMI). The clinic treats users via measurement-based care, utilizing a multidisciplinary team that consists of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, clinical social workers, nurse care managers, and patient care coordinators.

In December 2021, the company partnered with Philadelphian insurance company Independence Health Group to enhance its data and analytics capabilities, expand services offered to Independence Health’s mental health care provider network, screen individuals and provide actionable insights, as well as support additional health conditions and populations.

Funding and financials

In December 2021, as part of its collaboration with the Independence Health Group, Quartet raised USD 60 million in funding led by Independence Health Group. The funds were set aside to help with growth initiatives within the company.
