Dreamfarm is an Italian FoodTech startup that produces plant-based cheese using a unique process.
Dreamfarm’s process includes naturally fermenting Italian almonds in Parma, which is then combined with other natural ingredients like vegetable fiber, salt, and agar agar. Its portfolio includes a plant-based mozzarella alternative (claims to be the first and only mozzarella alternative with a government-certified liquid status and a Nutriscore A rating) and a plant-based spread. In October 2024, Dreamfarm launched a vegan ricotta made from almonds and cashews.
Following its successful launch in Italy, in 2024, the company expanded the distribution of its cheese alternative to Belgium and Germany.
