Akselos develops digital twin solutions for maintaining and monitoring large-scale assets for the energy industry. The company’s engineering simulation technology is based on its patented algorithm to enable 3D modeling, which it claims is 1,000x faster and 10x more accurate than conventional methods.

The company provides services to the energy industry in various sectors, mainly 1) offshore and onshore wind focused on modeling the entire wind farm, 2) upstream analysis to maintain and monitor the assets, 3) downstream analysis for predictive and prescriptive maintenance, and 4) offshore oil and gas.

In September 2024, the company introduced structural performance monitoring software for Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels called Structural Performance Management for FPSO 4.0. This software is designed to help maintain uninterrupted operations and extend the life of FPSOs.

In September 2023, the company partnered with Yinson Production and Enauta to deploy Akselos' digital twin technology on the floating vessel, Atlanta FPSO, in Brazil's Santos Basin.

Further, in April 2021, the company also entered a distributor agreement with Worley to expand the digital twin solution to the energy, mining, environmental, and general industries. Also in 2020, the company entered a distributor agreement with Lamprell, a construction firm for oil and gas industries, to provide the digital twin platform to Lamprell’s customers.
