Sheeva.AI offers a suite of in-car payment and commerce solutions called “SheevaLocate,” “SheevaFence” and “SheevaConnect” to improve customer satisfaction around routine transactions including fueling, electric vehicle (EV) charging, parking, curbside pickup, and drive-through.

SheevaLocate’s patented precise geolocation technology facilitates obtaining vehicle locations within two meters to activate service points and facilitate payment for ecommerce services through a digital wallet accessible via the vehicle's infotainment screen or OEMs’ mobile app. SheevaFence and SheevaConnect are cloud-based platforms that enable geofencing and mapping for point-of-service localization to allow the activation of that service from inside the car. The technologies automatically detect vehicles at specific locations such as gas stations, parking lots, EV chargers, etc., and using its open application programming interface (API), it integrates payment via the cloud and software development kit (SDK) through the digital wallet. In January 2024, the company launched a global API for SheevaConnect, enabling automotive manufacturers and suppliers to integrate in-vehicle services and payment systems across various car models and markets.

The company is headquartered in Virginia and has offices in Detroit (Michigan), New Delhi (India), Dresden (Germany), and Nagoya (Japan).

Sheeva.AI was conducting product trials with global automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers as of September 2023.

The company has several product and service partnerships, including Millennium Parking Garages to pilot smart infrastructure management and evaluate Sheeva.AI’s technology in managing parking spaces in Chicago, Illinois (July 2022); AeonCharge, a company that offers an app for EV drivers, to locate, activate, and pay for charging sessions across various providers in the US (January 2023); Athena Partners Strategy Group (APSG) to enhance routine parking transactions made via connected car infotainment screens globally (June 2023); Hagiwara Electronics to introduce in-car payments to the Japanese market (August 2023); Visa Acceptance Solutions to launch a tokenization platform for in-car commerce (November 2023); and P97 Networks, a mobile commerce platform provider, to bring in-car payment system to P97's fueling partners across the US (July 2024).

Funding and financials

In January 2023, Sheeva.AI raised USD 9.25 million in a Series A funding round led by Reynolds and Reynolds Company to expand its production team, automotive partners, and service partners across fueling, EV charging, parking, tolling, curbside retail, and drive-through verticals in the US, India, Europe, and Japan.
