Panasonic operates under five segments. The Lifestyle segment (~42% of total revenue in FY2023) primarily includes household appliances and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The Automotive segment (~15%) offers automotive components such as infotainment systems, advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), and EV systems and devices. The Connect segment (~13%) includes electronics, aircraft systems, and B2B installation/operation/maintenance services. Panasonic operates in more than 150 countries. Japan is the company’s largest market (~39% of total revenue in FY2023), followed by the Americas (~24%), Europe (~11%), and other Asian markets (~13%). Panasonic’s medium- to long-term plans identify EBITDA as a key growth indicator, and it expects long-term annual sales growth of 10% or more and annual EBITDA growth of 20% through FY2027. Panasonic aims to reach net zero emissions by 2030.
