 Chinese battery manufacturer, CATL, has introduced a new battery designed specifically for electric buses: the Tianxing Bus version battery. The company boasts that the battery provides the highest energy density in the bus industry, at 175 Wh/kg. This represents a substantial increase of 22% in energy density compared to the previous generation of this product.
 Designed with durability and longevity in mind, the Tianxing Bus battery is poised to last up to 1.5 million km (approximately 932,000 mi) or 15 years, making it a long-term investment for bus companies. Additionally, it comes with an ultra-long warranty of 10 years or 1 million km (621,400 mi), acting as a guarantee of its robustness and quality. The mass production of this battery is on the horizon.
 Anticipating the positive reception of the product in the market, CATL has already secured pre-orders for the Tianxing Bus battery from 13 different companies. This translates to 80 electric buses set to employ this new battery for their operations.
