GoodRx offers a suite of services that aims to provide easy access to price transparency and affordability solutions for medications, convenient telehealth consultations, and additional healthcare resources.

A notable feature of GoodRx is its prescription price comparison platform, which provides consumers with price comparisons and negotiated prices on prescriptions through its mobile applications. Additionally, GoodRx has expanded its offerings to include medication savings programs, medical provider consultations, lab tests through its telehealth offerings HeyDoctor and the GoodRx Telehealth Marketplace, and other healthcare-related content. The company offers both free and subscription-based services. The primary service, which provides discounts and price comparisons on prescription medications, is available free to all users. Additionally, GoodRx offers a premium membership program called GoodRx Gold, which is subscription-based and offers even greater discounts on medications and healthcare services for a monthly fee.

The company went public in September 2020. As of February 2024, the company’s shares were publicly traded under the ticker symbol GDRX on NASDAQ, with a market capitalization of USD 2.6 billion. In March 2022, GoodRx acquired technology and services platform vitaCare Prescription Services from TherapeuticsMD for USD 150 million. By acquiring vitaCare, GoodRx aimed to enhance the prescription process from beginning to end, ensuring patients have access to and can afford their essential brand-name medications.

In October 2024, the company launched an ecommerce solution that allowed consumers to order health products and medications directly through their platform with home delivery.

In October 2024, as part of its launch of its ecommerce platform, GoodRx partnered with  Opill, the first FDA-approved over-the-counter daily birth control pill, as its launch partner. 

In September 2024, GoodRx partnered with ARS Pharmaceuticals to provide a discounted cash price for neffy, a needle-free epinephrine nasal spray for type I allergic reactions. Through the partnership, neffy was made available for USD 199 for a pack of two single-use devices at over 70,000 pharmacies nationwide, exclusively through GoodRx.

In November 2023, the company partnered with Sanofi to provide one of Sanofi's insulin drugs at a lower price. The partnership involved discounting Sanofi’s insulin drug, Lantus, to USD 35 for a 30-day supply, beneficial for all customers irrespective of their insurance status.

In October 2023, GoodRx partnered with Navitus Health Solutions to launch Savings Connect, aimed at providing even greater prescription savings. Earlier in July 2023, the company also collaborated with CVS Caremark to introduce Caremark Cost Saver, a program designed to help lower pharmacy out-of-pocket drug costs for CVS Caremark clients' members.
