Based in India, Addverb Technologies develops autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), picking technologies, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and warehouse management and execution software, targeting micro-fulfillment, grocery retail, ecommerce, logistics, and airports use cases. Addverb offers five types of AMRs; 1) Dynamo for material movement, 2) Quadron, a carton shuttle robot that accelerates picking and order fulfillment, 3) Cruiser, a pallet shuttle robot that enables vertical space utilization and facilitates first-in-first-out (FIFO) and last-in-first-out (LIFO) operations, 4) sorting robot Zippy, and 5) UV disinfectant APR Decimator. Addverb also introduced Medius, a new multi-level shuttle (MLS) system targeting fuflillment operations, in August 2022. The company’s picking solutions include Rapido, a set of hardware and software that improves order fulfillment efficiency, and voice-directed picking technology Khushi that enables hands-free order fulfillment. In April 2022, the company also partnered with micro fulfillment-as-a-service provider Davinci Micro Fulfillment, to launch and expand automated micro fulfillment centers (MFCs) across North America. I n September 2022, Addverb partnered with ABCO Systems to offer automation solutions for the consumer goods industry.
In February 2022, the company expanded operations into the North and South American markets, following a USD 132 million Series B funding from Indian conglomerate Reliance Industries in January 2022, granting it a ~54% stake in the company. Addverb also has operations in Australia, Asia, and Europe, serving 100+ customers including Reliance, Unilever, Flipkart, Coca-Cola, Pepsico, Johnson & Johnson, and PAR Pharmaceutical. As of January 2022, around 20% of the company’s revenue came from overseas operations, which the company had plans to increase to around 50% over the following four to five years.
