<ul><li>Israel-based smart cart provider Cust2Mate received a follow-on order for an aggregate of 1,000 smart carts from Yochananof, a premier Israeli supermarket chain, following the success of an initial rollout of the technology at their stores.<ul>
The aggregate value of orders placed by Yochananof has now exceeded ~USD 10 million. The latest order was confirmed with a downpayment of USD 1.75 million with the balance to be paid upon delivery. This will happen on an ongoing basis with completion scheduled for October 2022.
The supermarket chain is responding to positive customer feedback by adding more smart carts to its network. They are planning to introduce Cust2mate Smart Carts across their store network in Israel.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Cust2Mate (a subsidiary of A2Z Smart Technologies) continues to grow on the back of its technology-focused and results-based approach to the roll-out of its smart carts. In March, the company secured NMO certification for its on-cart weighing system, which enables the worldwide use of Cust2Mate smart carts for weight-to-cost conversions regardless of currency or unit of weight. With technology-backed results driving support for its smart carts, Yochananof is not the only retailer to have expanded the scope of its partnership with Cust2Mate. The company also recently expanded its pilot program with US-based Evergreen Kosher Market , following a successful pilot at their New York location.<ul>
