ZeroAvia, a hydrogen-based aviation solutions developer, has announced a strategic partnership with Otto Aviation, a developer of private aircraft, to develop hydrogen powertrains for Otto’s Celera aircraft.
The partnership will integrate ZeroAvia’s ZA600 hydrogen-powered engine with Otto’s ground-breaking Celera aircraft.
The collaboration aims to develop a 19-seater Celera aircraft ranging up to 1,000 nautical miles with zero-flight emission.
<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: Most of ZeroAvia’s recent partnerships were aimed at improving its aircraft technology. These include partnerships with Hyzon , De Havilland Canada , ASL Aviation , and Alaska Airlines . Such collaborations with downstream players are an indication that the company is moving closer to commercialization. ZeroAvia plans to launch its first passenger flight in 2024.
