Miso Robotics, a kitchen automation company, has partnered with Americana Restaurants — a master franchisee bringing brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Hardee's, Krispy Kreme, and TGI Friday's to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), to expand its footprint internationally. This marks Miso Robotics’ first partnership that extends its reach beyond the US market.
Initially, the two companies will pilot Miso Robotics’ “Flippy 2,” a robotic burger fry station, at Americana Restaurants' flagship Wimpy location in The Dubai Mall. They expect to bring down order-to-delivery time, increase food consistency and provide a better working environment for the staff via deploying Flippy 2 at the Wimpy location.
The companies plan to expand coverage to include more Americana Restaurants locations in the future (operates around 2,000 restaurants across 12 countries in MENA).

Analyst QuickTake: Miso Robotics launched its Flippy 2 robot last November and since then has partnered with companies including restaurant company Jack in the Box, hamburger chain White Castle, and fast-casual chicken wing restaurant brand Wing Zone to install Flippy 2 units at selected locations in the US.
