Amazon’s Just Walkout deployed at Lumen Field NFL stadium

Partnerships

  • Amazon’s Just Walkout technology is to be deployed at a food and beverage store at the District Market at Lumen Field stadium in Washington. This will be the first NFL stadium to feature the technology.

  • A kiosk will be available outside the District Market to enable fans to register for the checkout-free service.

<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake: This is Amazon’s latest cashier-less deployment at a sports stadium and part of a broader deployment trend among checkout-free technology providers. In April, Amazon launched Just Walk Out technology and Amazon One in multiple sports arenas such as the Seattle major league baseball stadium T-Mobile Park and Houston Astros’ baseball stadium . The same month, Instacart also deployed Caper Counter at Boston’s Fenway Park . Meanwhile, in March, Zippin partnered with Aramark to open checkout-free stores in Houston’s multi-purpose NRG Stadium .<ul>
